| Hello hello! I wanted to let you know about an exciting concert we will be playing one week from today. You may have seen it on our website calendar, but I thought I'd email you as a friendly reminder ;-). B's Bees is happy to present a night of Charlie Haden compositions. The music will span much of his 50+ year career, and will highlight some of the different musical projects he has been a part of. Joining us for this very special evening will be three very special guests: Gary Schwartz - Guitar Al McLean - Alto Sax Sage Reynolds - Bass Dalhi Gonthier - Tenor Sax Taylor Donaldson - Trombone Alex Truelove - Trombone Joe Ferracuti - Piano Julien Sandiford - Acoustic Guitar Brandon Goodwin - Drums Resonance Café 9pm $10 (suggested donation) If you can't make it, then we will hopefully be video streaming the show, although we had some technical difficulties the last two time, I think we have finally worked out the kinks, and it should go smoothly. To find out if the video stream is going to work or not, just go to our website on the day of the show and check the homepage for an announcement. We've also been booked to play the House of Jazz on Saturday, June 28th, as part of their Jazz Festival series. We're very excited about this concert as it will be an opportunity to play to an entirely new audience. If you want to attend this show then don't wait to make a reservation. The show will sell-out very quickly. Also, we are working on some new material and plan to head into the studio mid-August.
